Local Wedding Guide Brisbane Wedding Photographer of the Year Competition

I know I know….. I am a very bad blogger but I have been so flat out lately and blogging has unfortunately gone to the bottom of the pile.  And I feel terrible especially when I receive such beautiful emails from clients like this ” I love looking at your pics. I visit daily just to smile….laugh….cry…sigh” now there is no better compliment than that.

I am advertising in the Local Wedding Guide this year and had the opportunity to submit an image which brides get to vote on to decide the Brisbane Wedding Photographer of the year and win themselves a $500 engagement shoot with the winner.   Obviously I cannot say which is my image but there are fantastic photos from some great photographers - I am just honored to have one of my images sitting next to theirs! So any potential brides out there get voting to win your E-shoot.

I am also starting to get really excited because wedding session is fast approaching and I have lots of weddings booked with beautiful brides (and fantastic grooms of course). I am also looking at my packages and I am going to be making some changes to the way I approach weddings and packaging. I really want all my couples to have an album as there is nothing more special than looking back on your wedding album and it really does become a family heirloom.  Anyway keep an eye out of these exciting changes as I will be working with a very established album company in Brisbane who produce beautiful albums for all price ranges.

And because I don’t like to post without a photo, here is an image from a wedding that I assisted Peter from Turning Heads Photography with.  There are lots more to come and will try and put these up over the next week or so.

Don’t forget get voting girls.

So Precious {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

What an amazing experience I had last week photographing these adorable twins and their precious family.  This was the first twin photoshoot that I have done so I was a little nervous as to how it would all unfold. I even took along my friend Kylie from Kylie Maree Photography just for some back up (and was great company while we waited for the sleepy eyes to start - thanks Kylie you rock).

We had nothing to worry about as eventually the twins slept and we were able to get some amazing photos - I was still nervous though even when they were sleeping as I was scared one wrong move and one would wake up.  My hands were literally shaking while I was “posing” them - I even got a tear to my eye when I looked at how precious they were laying there together - it was honestly one of the most beautiful things I have seen.And not only did we have beautiful twin boys but also a very handsome big brother who just melted my heart.

I have way too many photos to choose from to put on here and if I put them all up you would be here forever - so here are a few of my favs (although honestly they are all my favs).

{Thanks guys for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives - it was a pleasure to meet you and you a beautiful family - I am honored to have met you all}.

New {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

You would probably remember Alan and Tamara who I had the pleasure of photographing a month or so ago - she had the most amazing pregnant body ever!  Well now I can introduce you to Little Master F. Now I am convinced that newborns just don’t like me -actually they do - they just want to stay up and play with me and not sleep.  Master F slept for 2 minutes (literally) our whole session and I was there for around 3 hours.  I am so happy with how they all turned out as there wasn’t many sleepy moments!

{Thanks guys for having me back to capture your darling little man.  Although he didn’t sleep, he was such a good boy and I look forward to seeing him again soon.  Also thank you for the lovely little spread that you put on for lunch - it was so delicious).

Perfect Belly {Brisbane Maternity Photographer}

How lucky am I having all these friends pregnant? My good friend Bron, who has actually now had her little man, visited two weeks ago so we could do her maternity session - one day before she was due. This was the maternity session that must of got put off 100 times due to both our busy lives - no excuses I know. The weather was pretty bad on this day so we just stayed and played in the “studio”.

{Bron, you look amazing in these photos and I can’t wait to meet little man on Thursday. Hope your doing well x}

Till next time (won’t be too far away - I have some more amazing newborn sessions to blog}

Introducing Little Miss G {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this lovely family a few weeks back and Little Miss G was such a lovely little bubba! She was very alert through a lot of our session but we finally got her to nod off and then we put her in a china bowl and surprise surprise she woke up - doh!  That will teach me for trying to be creative!  I do think it is nice though to capture some images with baby’s eyes open and we certainly got some beautiful images with Little Miss G’s eyes widely open.

{Lauren and Ian it was lovely to meet you and your precious little girl.  I hope she is bringing you lots of lovely moments to remember and keeping Mummy company while Daddy is away at work…….be in touch soonx)
