Extra Special Boy {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

What a day today has been - my little man broke his arm and I still can’t believe it!  But that will be a post all on its own!  For now I have the pleasure of introducing you to Master J - remember that beautiful little boy that I had the honor of photographing him entering this world?  We did this shoot almost 3 weeks ago and I have been very slack in not getting a sneak peak to Mum and Dad earlier.  Sorry guys.  Master J was just so perfect the whole shoot and only cried when Dad got home (woops!).  I have so many beautiful photos but for tonight I will share some of just Master J - tomorrow night I hope to show you more with Mum and Dad!

Nicole & Richard’s Wedding Day - Part 1!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of doing the photography for my friend Nicole and her new husband Richard!  Thank goodness the weather in Brisbane held off and gave us a beautiful day!  I have to say Nicole made a beautiful bride and seemed to be extremely relaxed - although I do remember her Mum calling her a bridezilla once or twice.

Everything ran so smoothly and now they are on their long awaited honeymoon with their beautiful daughter.  Thanks to Nicole and Whint for coming along to 2nd shoot.

Well as promised here are some photos from the Day.  I am only half way through them so will try and get the rest of the day up by Thursday.

For the Bride to Be {Brisbane Child Photographer}

Newborn Joy {Brisbane Birth Photographer}

Almost three weeks ago I had the honor of photographing the birth of one of my previous maternity clients!  It was one of the most amazing things I have witnessed and M had the strength of an ox - 14 hour labour, no drugs and still said thank you to the midwives! She is just amazing and I admire her so much!

I was at the birth for around 8 hours and got some amazing shots - I just love the emotion that is captured - something that you don’t get everyday that is for sure.  Please also note that the photos may not all be “perfect” - I know there is one that is a bit blurry - but I don’t care because it is a moment captured (and we all know hospital lighting isn’t the best)!

Thank you so much M & B for having me at this important event in your lives - I certainly was honoured and will be an experience that I will never forget.  I hope to share many more important events in your life - remember - I am Aunty Na (your Mum’s words not mine)!

M has allowed me to share some of these images with you so I hope you love them as much as I do.  I will be posting photos from the “official” newborn photoshoot that we did on Saturday!  Trust me you will want to come back to see them - he is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!

Sweet Sweet Girl {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

Wow what a weekend I had!  I had four shoots - 2 newborns, a maternity and a last minute one with a friend!

On  Saturday morning my first newborn shoot was with a beautiful little one month old girl who was just so adorable and so well behaved! She slept for most of the time and even when she wasn’t sleeping she was a good girl!  Thanks guys for having me in your home - you were both so welcoming and lovely.  D, hope you are feeling better - we are going through the same thing (started Friday night don’t worry!).

Anticipation {Brisbane Maternity Photographer}

On Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting with a super nice couple and their adorable little boy!  I had met Mrs F once before when I did some photography for their mums group back in March this year so it was lovely to catch up again.  Mrs F is 35 weeks pregnant and is looking really great I am sure you will agree.

Guys thanks for allowing me in your home to capture this special time in your lives.  I had a great time with you all and hope to get the chance to meet your new bundle of joy when he /she arrives.

My Friend {Brisbane Maternity Photographer}

Well my beautiful  friend is due to have her 2nd child in January and what better way to celebrate this than with a photoshoot to remember this special time!

It was a really fun shoot and was nice to actually spend some time together without the kids - we have a bad track record of actually catching up!

Just Beautiful {Brisbane Newborn & Birth Photographer}

Ok I am obsessed with my little nephew - but who wouldn’t be?  I had wanted to do this particular shoot with my sister since I found out she was pregnant and I have to say it turned out better than I expected. Baby S was perfectly behaved and I think we just captured some beautiful moments with them both!!!! Now we just have to get his Dad in a few…..

I also had a great opportunity to do the birth photography for a beautiful couple on Sunday. I still have to get permission, but I am hoping to share some of these as the emotion caught in them is just amazing.  I will also be posting in the next few days about an exciting opportunity for 3 Brisbane couples - but more on that shortly!
